Google is introducing a new feature on the Play Store that allows simultaneous Android app downloads, albeit with a limit of two downloads at a time.
If you attempt to download a third app simultaneously, it will be queued as pending until one of the ongoing downloads completes.
While this functionality is already available on devices like the Pixel 6, Google is staging rollouts; so not all users may have access to it immediately.
Reportedly, this simultaneous downloading feature applies exclusively to new app downloads.
App updates will continue to be processed sequentially, with only one update downloading at a time.
This distinction ensures that users can efficiently manage their app downloads while still allowing for the orderly installation of updates.
