Carol Katrue Responds to Allegations of Misusing Presidential Donation
Carol Katrue, has come forward to defend their use of funds donated by President William Ruto amidst criticism from artist KRG the Don.
KRG accused the couple of lacking gratitude and manipulating public generosity, sparking debate on social media.
Responding to the allegations, Katrue clarified that she actively sought assistance from the President and utilized the received Sh300,000 to cover essential expenses, including rent, during a period when Miracle Baby was unable to work due to his medical condition.
She stressed the responsible utilization of the funds and questioned the scrutiny from KRG regarding its allocation.
A breakdown of the expenses reveals that a portion of the funds went towards paying rent for their residence, while an additional amount of Sh10,000 was allocated to compensate journalists who documented the event.
Despite the aid received, challenges persist for the couple.
In January, Miracle Baby underwent his surgery; he has been ill to date. The couple has in the past asked for a blood donation, money and support for ailing Peter who is still ailing.
Katrue explained back in January,
The surgery was successful but the intestines had busted they
have managed to wash but he will be going to the toilet through
a pipe and they have left some intestines outside when he recovers he will go back to the theatre so that the intestines can be returned inside,
