YouTube is currently conducting a new experiment aimed at reducing the usage of ad blockers.
According to reports from TechCrunch and screenshots shared by Reddit users, YouTube is displaying a warning message to desktop users who have ad-blocking extensions installed.
The message informs users that their video playback will be blocked after watching three videos unless they disable the ad blocker or whitelist YouTube.
This experiment is being conducted globally, and YouTube has confirmed its involvement.
