In 2023, AI chatbots have become a dominant force in the tech industry.
From the widespread use of ChatGPT to Anthropic’s Claude and Elon Musk’s Grok bot for xAI, these bots have made a significant impact.
The latest platform to embrace this trend appears to be YouTube.

The company is reportedly in the process of testing an AI chatbot that will be visible beneath videos, inviting viewers to engage in conversations.
As announced in a blog post by Google Support, this “conversational AI” is engineered to respond to queries about the video being played and suggest related content.
Users will have the option to click an “Ask” button and either type their own questions or choose from a list of suggested prompts.
YouTube explained,
For specific educational videos,
the tool can enhance learning experiences by
offering quizzes and responses that promote deeper comprehension.”
Currently, the conversational AI feature is in the beta testing stage and will only be available under videos for a select group of users.
Following the beta phase, YouTube plans to introduce the feature to YouTube Premium subscribers in the United States first.
