A follower, possibly expressing criticism, has pointed out that Vanessa Mdee has put her career on hold to support Rotimi in his music and acting endeavors.
Despite sharing two children, the Tanzanian singer and the ‘Power’ actor have not tied the knot.

The observer noted that Vanessa devotes herself to boosting and cheering on Rotimi, but marriage has not yet been part of their story.
Girl the fact that you quit your career to be this dudes hype man and he won’t even marry you is heartbreaking for real 💔💔🥺.
I hope you find your way back to what you love… you completely gave yourself up for him,Â
Vanessa responded by advising that life is not all about social media and that her royalties still keep coming in, adding that she does not have any intentions ‘to stop supporting her man’.
I will gladly stand for what I love, my sister life is not social media. PS: the royalty checks still coming in.
V MDEE
I will continue supporting my man plus raising our children.
