Octopizzo recently took to his Instagram page to express his dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs in Kenya, particularly the soaring fuel prices.

In his social media message, he specifically directed his concerns towards President William Ruto, urging him to take action in reducing the prices of paraffin.
Octopizzo emphasized that many Kenyans, especially those in disadvantaged areas like the ghettos, heavily rely on fuel for cooking and lighting their homes. The rapper, also criticized Members of Parliament for their silence on the issue, despite its urgent need for attention.

Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) implements price hike for petrol, diesel, and kerosene
Effective from May 15 until the next review on June 14, the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) recently announced an increase in the prices of petrol, diesel, and kerosene.
EPRA stated that petrol has risen by Sh3.40 per litre, diesel by Sh6.40 per litre, and kerosene by Sh15.19 per litre.
As a result, the current prices in Nairobi stand at Sh182.70 per litre for petrol, Sh168.40 per litre for diesel, and Sh161.13 per litre for kerosene.
