Despite recent comments from Gal Gadot indicating plans for “Wonder Woman 3” development alongside James Gunn and Peter Safran, new reports suggest a different reality at Warner Bros.
Sources familiar with the situation have informed Variety that the third installment is not currently in the works.
Contrary to Gadot’s statements, there are no indications of Gunn and Safran moving forward with the Wonder Woman project within the new DC Universe.
Insiders have clarified that there was no explicit commitment to Gadot regarding the continuation of the franchise with “Wonder Woman 3.”
Discussions regarding Gadot’s involvement in the new DC Universe have not been finalized as well.
It’s important to note that Gadot’s recent remarks about the film were made prior to the initiation of the SAG-AFTRA strike, which has affected many productions.
