Quiver Club Kilimani has announced it will no longer play music, following recent threats from Nairobi City County officials to shut down the popular venue due to noise complaints.
The decision comes after extensive discussions with neighbors and a commitment to environmental conservation.
In a public statement, Quiver Club’s management explained their new direction:
In response to feedback from our community and in the spirit of unity and environmental respect, we are excited to introduce a new concept.
We will be the first club to operate without music, creating a unique atmosphere focused on meaningful conversations and a relaxed dining experience.”
The decision follows Nairobi City County’s enforcement of noise regulations, with Geoffrey Mosiria, the chief environment officer, stating that the club had ignored multiple complaints and soundproofing requests.
With music now off the menu, Quiver Club Kilimani will concentrate on offering a high-quality food and drink experience.
