Popular Mugiithi singer DJ Fatxo, has shed light on his absence from Jeff Mwathi’s funeral in recent interview with Massawe Japanni on Radio Jambo.
He explained that news had already spread even to Jeff’s family that he was responsible for Jeff’s death.
The family has already formed their conclusion that I am responsible for their son’s demise.
I have never mustered the courage to contact her.

In the same interview, Fatxo recounted the encounter that led to his first meeting with Jeff Mwathi, attributing their introduction to a businesswoman named Faith Mutanu.
According to reports, Jeff Mwathi tragically passed away in February 2023 after falling from the 10th floor of an apartment that was allegedly rented by DJ Fatxo.
Ann Mwathi, Jeff’s mother, has expressed her disappointment during a TikTok live session, stating that she feels her son did not receive the justice he deserved despite the investigation conducted by government authorities.
She expressed her anguish over the loss of her son, stating that the pain will haunt her forever.
DJ Fatxo has been absolved of all murder allegations in Jeff Mwathi’s death.
