Waihiga Mwaura leaves Citizen TV for BBC after 14 years

After spending 14 years with Citizen TV, popular media personality Waihiga Mwaura has revealed his departure from the station.

He has given a hint that he will soon be joining the BBC. In a message shared on Twitter, he announced that he will be presenting his final show on the station.

After 14 amazing years at Royal Media Services (Citizen TV), my time here has come to an end. My next stop is @BBCNews @BBCAfrica specifically Focus on Africa . I'll share more details soon, but in the meantime, see you on my last episode of #Newsnight at 9pm on @citizentvkenya
