Chapa Dimba Na Safaricom is a nationwide football tournament designed for young individuals between the ages of 16 and 20.
Safaricom’s Chapa Dimba tournament aims to empower and uplift the lives of young people by providing them with a platform to showcase their football skills and at the same time. offer them an opportunity to monetize their passion for the sport.
The tournament welcomes the participation of both boys and girls teams, and it will commence with a national registration process in various regions across Kenya, including Nairobi, Eastern, Western, Nyanza, Rift, Coast, Central, and North Eastern.
Each team will consist of 15 players and 2 officials during the group stages, and advancing teams will be permitted to recruit an additional 3 players for the subsequent stages.
The victorious teams, in both the boys’ and girls’ categories, will be awarded a grand prize of Kshs 1 million.
