After weeks of rebranding efforts, Twitter, has officially changed its name on the App Store to X.
The social media platform replaced its old bird logo with the new ‘X’ logo on both iOS and Android apps.
However, it faced a challenge in changing the listed name on the App Store due to Apple’s policy of not allowing single-character app names.

Nevertheless, an exception seems to have been made, as Elon Musk’s X Corp., the official owner of Twitter, now has the single-letter app name.
Additionally, X updated its App Store tagline to “Blaze your glory!” without providing further context.
The Android Twitter App (X) has already been updated to reflect the rebranding.
