Trevor Noah has partnered with Prime Video to produce a new South African show titled “LOL: Last One Laughing.”
The show is a six-episode stand-up comedy competition featuring 10 South African comedians who will compete to see who can keep a straight face the longest while also attempting to make their opponents laugh.

The comedians will face various challenges and scenarios designed to test their ability to maintain a stoic expression.
The winner of each episode will receive a cash prize of 1 million Rand.
This will be Prime Video’s first South African Original series.

In a statement provided to Variety, Trevor Noah expressed his excitement about returning home to host the show and working with his fellow South African comedians to create a program that both entertains and supports the local production and charity communities.
Trevor Noah quit ‘the Daily Show’ on September 29, 2022. He shared a video statement on Twitter, saying that his time was up but he was grateful for the experience. Noah, had been the host of the satirical program for seven years.
