Nakuru Senator Tabitha Karanja has announced her resignation as the CEO of Keroche Breweries.
In a press briefing on Tuesday, Tabitha stated her intention to fully dedicate herself to serving the Nakuru residents who elected her.
The new CEO of Keroche Breweries will be Potas Anaya, who previously served as the Chief Financial Officer.
Tabitha expressed her gratitude to everyone who has supported her during her 25-year tenure as the captain of the company.
While Keroche Breweries achieved significant success under Tabitha’s leadership, the company has faced tax disputes with the Kenya Revenue Authority.
In April 2023, Tabitha was charged with tax evasion amounting to Sh14.5 billion. The case is scheduled to be heard on July 26.
