Sparta Prague made a triumphant return to the Champions League after 19 years with a commanding 3-0 victory over Red Bull Salzburg.
Their last appearance in the competition was in 2005, where they finished bottom of their group.
Sparta wasted no time, scoring just 107 seconds into the game through Kaan Kairinen’s rebound.
Victor Olatunji added a second with a superb volley before halftime, and Qazim Laci sealed the win in the 58th minute with a composed finish.
This marks Sparta’s first Champions League win since defeating Lazio in 2003.
