The residents of Raganga in Kitutu Chache, Kisii County were taken aback when they stumbled upon a headless corpse abandoned in a nearby bush.
The discovery was made on Monday, a few days after the discovery of a head without a body in the same location.
Locals suspect that the head belongs to the owner of the decapitated body.
The body was missing a leg and a hand, while the other hand had been consumed by feral dogs.
The deceased person’s identity remains unknown, and it is believed that the individual was killed elsewhere before being discarded at the scene.
The police have pledged to identify the culprits responsible for the gruesome killings.
