Jamaican dancehall sensation Chinsea Linda Lee, widely known as Shenseea, has extended a sincere apology to her dedicated fan base in Kenya following the unexpected postponement of her eagerly anticipated concert scheduled for August 26, 2023.
The apology was conveyed by Shenseea through her Insta stories, where she expressed her heartfelt regret and provided insight into the unfortunate circumstances that led to the show’s delay.
Starting with Kenya, I want to express my deep affection for all of you. I sincerely apologize that our plans did not unfold as expected,” she candidly shared.
Conveying her sense of disappointment, Shenseea assured her fans that she is committed to making it up to them by delivering an extraordinary and unforgettable performance in the near future.
I share in the disappointment as I was genuinely excited about the prospect of being there and enjoying a remarkable time with you all. Rest assured, when I finally touch down in Kenya, it will be an unforgettable experience,” she affirmed.
Shenseea’s apologetic message follows an official announcement made by the event’s organizers, the Sababisha Festival.
In their statement, the organizers expressed their sincere remorse for the necessity to reschedule the event, highlighting the thorough consultations that transpired between their team and Shenseea’s management.
We deeply regret to inform our audience that, after extensive discussions between our on-ground team and Shenseea’s management, we have made the decision to postpone the Sababisha Festival, originally slated for August 26,” the statement outlined.
Emphasizing their commitment to their audience, the organizers assured that the event will be rescheduled for a later date in October.
They further assured ticket holders that their purchased tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled show.
