The police have unearthed an additional 20 bodies from the 800-acre Shakahola land located in Magarini, Kilifi County, bringing the total number of exhumed bodies to 67.
Six of the bodies were discovered in a single grave.
The exhumation process continued despite ongoing investigations into the cult-like group allegedly led by Pastor Paul Mackenzie.
The Inspector General of Police, Japhet Koome, and Director of Criminal Investigations, Amin Mohammed, visited the site to supervise the operation.
Two teams were deployed, with one team exhuming bodies while the other searched the surrounding forest for potential survivors.
The authorities have rescued 29 more individuals, and they are now looking into the ownership of the land.
Over the course of three days, the police have exhumed 39 bodies, with seven on Friday, 14 on Saturday, and 18 on Sunday.
IG Koome visited the site yesterday from where he also addressed the media.
