Dancehall sensation Richie Spice has drawn parallels between his Kenyan fans and those in Jamaica.

Ahead of his highly anticipated show at the KICC in Nairobi on May 27th, Richie Spice visited the Royal Media studios for a Q&A session with Kenneth Gachie from Citizen Digital, the show’s sponsor.

According to Richie Spice, the energy and connection he feels from his Kenyan fans remind him of his fans back home in Jamaica.

When we come to Kenya, the person that we leave back in Jamaica, we see the same resemblance.

Kenyan fans remind me of home,”

Richie

When asked about his experiences in other African countries, the reggae legend mentioned that he doesn’t travel extensively, except for his visits to Kenya, which he has done four times, with his last performance being in 2019.

He also mentioned his visits to the Gambia and Senegal as his only other African destinations.

Regarding his favorite song to perform that elicits an enthusiastic response from his fans, Richie Spice explained that he doesn’t have a specific song in mind and instead performs all his songs for his dedicated fan base.

Regular advanced tickets for the Good Vibes Festival will be priced at Ksh. 2,500, VIP tickets will be priced at Ksh. 5,000, and VVIP tickets will be priced at Ksh. 7,000. On the day of the event, gate tickets will be available at Ksh. 3,000 for regular attendees, Ksh. 7,000 for VIP access, and Ksh. 9,000 for VVIP entry.

Promising an exceptional show filled with great vibes and a memorable time, Richie Spice urged his fans to attend the concert in large numbers, where he will be performing alongside his brother.
