Reggae enthusiasts were treated to an unforgettable night of music as Jamaican reggae legend Richie Spice took the stage at the KICC grounds in Nairobi.
The ‘Good Vibes Festival’ drew large crowds of Kenyan reggae music fans who braved the chilly weather and occasional drizzles to enjoy the iconic tunes of the reggae crooner.
Richie Spice, also known as Richell Bonner, delivered an animated and energetic performance, entertaining fans for over an hour with a marathon of his classic hits.

Prior to his electrifying set, local reggae stars including Cathy Matete, Lavosti, Shamir, and Lyrical Erico kept the crowd entertained with their own exceptional performances, showcasing their musical prowess.
Despite the intermittent rain, the reggae-loving audience waved their flags and created a euphoric atmosphere throughout the night.
The excitement escalated when Tallia Oyando, popularly known as the ‘Night Nurse’ from Citizen TV’s ‘One Love’ show, took the stage and captivated the crowd with a reggae medley, setting the stage for Richie Spice’s grand entrance.

Joined by turntablist DJ Grauchi, Tallia and Richie Spice ignited the crowd’s enthusiasm as they prepared for the main act. At around 1.30am, the reggae maestro stepped onto the stage to an enthusiastic roar, kicking off his set with lesser-known tracks before launching into crowd favorites like ‘Earth A Run Red’, ‘Marijuana’, ‘Free’, and ‘Youth Dem Cold’.
Throughout the night, Richie Spice engaged with the audience, interacted with fans, and showcased the musical talent of his band.
The crowd remained on their feet, singing along and applauding thunderously after each performance.
The masterful reggae icon delivered powerful renditions of songs such as ‘Gideon Boot’, ‘Grooving My Girl’, ‘Brown Skin’, and ‘Crying Out For Love’, leaving a lasting impact on the hearts of his Kenyan fans.
After an hour-long musical explosion, Richie Spice concluded his show but not before inviting his band members to showcase their individual skills.
