NRG Radio Uganda went on air for the first time on Wednesday, January 18th 2023, after weeks of teasing the launch on social media.

The new station in Uganda has maintained the brand’s theme colors of Red, White and Black.
Mwalimu Rachel has moved to Uganda, Kampala. She is tasked to make sure the presenters are equipped with the requisite knowledge to deliver exceptionally well on air.
NRG Radio Kenya first went on air at Almont Park in Westlands along Church Road in March 2018. In Feb 2021, the station moved to Le Mac Tower.
