Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, has been sentenced to 120 days of home detention following his social media threats directed at rapper Offset.

This decision comes after Petty was captured on video making menacing statements while in the company of an individual with a criminal record.
The court order was filed in the Central District of California.

During this period of house arrest, Petty’s activities will be closely monitored, and he may be required to wear an electronic GPS ankle bracelet, though this is yet to be confirmed.
The recorded videos were shared on social media on September 16 and contained explicit language.

In the footage, Petty and two others repeatedly refer to Offset while standing on a New York City sidewalk.
Petty is heard saying-
You plan that vacation,
you’ll be planning your funeral.”
Petty’s criminal history includes convictions for attempted rape and attempted murder, with prior prison sentences.
In 2022, he received a three-year probationary term for failing to register as a sex offender in California.
