In recent years, Netflix has been gradually expanding its library of mobile games, but in 2023 the streaming service plans to significantly increase its gaming offerings.
Currently, Netflix subscribers have access to 55 mobile games, with 40 more titles set to be released throughout the next nine months.
Netflix’s Vice President of External Games, Leanne Loombe, stated in a blog post that the company is continuing to build its gaming portfolio and will be working with leading studios to bring subscribers a diverse range of games, including indie games, award-winning hits, RPGs, narrative adventures, and puzzle games.
Additionally, Netflix has 70 more games in development with external studios, and 16 more titles are being developed in-house.
The first game to be released in this new wave is Mighty Quest: Rogue Palace, developed by Ubisoft, which will launch on April 18, followed by more games later on in the year.
