Renowned singer Simisola Kosoko, widely recognized as Simi, has unveiled her post-music retirement plans, sharing her intention to create her own children’s show.
The 35-year-old artist made the revelation through her official Twitter account on Saturday.
Expressing her anticipation for this transition, Simi expressed,

My retirement plan is my own kids’ show.
I’ve been working on music for years. I can’t wait. So help me God.”

Simi, a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress, initially launched her career as a gospel artist, with her debut album “Ogaju” released in 2008.
Her breakout came in 2014 with the song “Tiff,” earning a nomination for Best Alternative Song at The Headies 2015.
After signing with X3M Music in 2014, she later left the label in May 2019 when her contract ended.

Recognized as one of Nigeria’s foremost and accomplished artists, Simi has secured numerous awards, including Best Female Artiste at the Headies Awards in 2017 and 2019, along with the Nigeria Entertainment Award for Best Female Vocalist in 2018.
Simi’s is married to Adekunle Gold. He is also a Nigerian singer and songwriter.
