Content creator Murugi Munyi has recently expressed her perspective on the boundaries she has set to safeguard her mental well-being while using social media platforms.

One of the boundaries Murugi firmly stands by is her right to block individuals who display rudeness, disrespect, unkindness, or make her feel unsafe. She views her platform as her personal space and aims to cultivate a positive environment where negativity is not tolerated.
Another boundary she enforces is not opening direct messages from unfamiliar followers, particularly those containing photos or links without proper context. Murugi has encountered unsolicited images and inappropriate messages in the past, which has led her to be cautious about the content she engages with.

Murugi also avoids sharing unverified medical appeals on her platform, unless they come from friends or individuals she knows. By adhering to this boundary, she aims to avoid inadvertently promoting scams and maintain the integrity of her content.
As a content creator, Murugi asserts her right to accept or refuse brand deals. She emphasizes that it is essential for every content creator to choose which brands they align with and not feel pressured into collaborations that don’t resonate with their personal brand.

Regarding privacy, Murugi believes that everyone deserves to keep certain aspects of their life private, even when they are active on a public platform. She expects her followers to respect her boundaries and not pry into matters she has intentionally chosen not to share.
