Ugandan media reported in 2018, February that Ugandan musician Mowzey Radio had sadly passed away. Radio, had been admitted to a hospital following a scuffle at a club in Kampala but unfortunately, he succumbed to the injuries.
Ugandan artist Chameleone has fondly remembered the singer who died 4 years ago. He has talked about how their relationship started. He liked him, he says. Their interaction finally made him produce Radio’s first song titled ‘Jennifer’.

I wake up in the morning, then I used to drive a Toyota Surf, and I find it washed in a way I had never seen. And I asked who washed my car? they told me it’s Radio who had washed it. Then he used to call himself Mowzey Kinti and I liked him.
The next time he came, he brought a portrait of me he had drawn using a pen. He gifted it to me. He was so good. I also draw but Radio was really good,”
and I told him, let’s enter the studio, and I produced his song Jennifer… and that’s how the relationship started.”
