MIB Africa, the management label responsible for overseeing the career of Kenyan musician Stevo Simple Boy, has decided to terminate its contract with the rapper following allegations made by his wife, Grace.
According to Grace, Stevo’s management has been mistreating him and exerting excessive control over his personal and professional life.
Grace claims that the management has taken over Stevo’s social media accounts, limiting his freedom to interact with others online and even controlling the earnings generated from his music.
She further asserts that they have control over his phone calls, bank accounts, and even his mobile payment transactions (M-Pesa).

This level of control has left Stevo feeling restricted and unable to benefit from his music career.
Given Stevo’s reserved nature, Grace believes that the management has taken advantage of him, leaving him without any significant benefits from his musical endeavors.
This situation has placed the musician in a difficult position, with basic needs such as food sometimes being scarce for him and his family.
As a result of these allegations and the hardships faced by Stevo and his wife, MIB Africa has decided to sever ties with the rapper.
The termination of the contract will allow Stevo to explore other opportunities and regain control over his personal and professional affairs.

It remains to be seen how Stevo will navigate his music career independently and find stability beyond his association with MIB Africa.
