Mesut Ozil, the former Real Madrid and Arsenal football player, has decided to retire from the sport at the age of 34.
Ozil had spent eight years at Arsenal following his transfer from Real Madrid for £42.5 million in 2013.

During his time at Arsenal, he played a crucial role in the club’s success, helping them win four FA Cup titles before moving to Fenerbahce in January 2021.
Unfortunately, Ozil’s career ended on a sour note, as he struggled with injuries towards the end of his career.
He took to social media to announce his retirement, saying that he had given it much thought and decided to call time on his professional football career immediately.
