Renowned news anchor Mark Masai has joined the cast of Showmax original series, “Faithless.”
“Faithless” tells the gripping tale of a group of church members who unwittingly become entangled in a world of crime and violence after their women’s guild, known as a chama, transforms into a money laundering front for a ruthless crime lord.
Mark Masai, known for his stellar career in journalism, joins a talented cast that includes Rosemary Waweru, Avril Nyambura, Beatrice Mwai, Fatma Mohammed, Aleks Kamau, Morris Mwangi, Peter Kamau, Arabron Nyyneque, Abubakar Mwenda, Brian Ngaira, Antony Kyule Njuguna, Ashley Kareez, Steve Matias, Kennedy Luyali, and Zawadi Kayyoh.
The series is produced by Live Eye TV and directed by Abdi Shuria, King Muriuki, and Janet Chumbe.
“Faithless” is set to hit African streaming service Showmax on July 6, 2023.
