Comedian Mammito, also known as Eunice Wanjiru, is gearing up for her highly anticipated second stand-up comedy show, “Mammito & Girlfriends,” which is scheduled to take place on August 26, 2023, at the Nairobi National Museum’s auditorium.
Following the immense success of her first self-produced music and comedy event, “Mammito & Friends,” in December 2023, Mammito is back with the second edition of her comedy franchise.
“Mammito & Girlfriends” promises an evening filled with top-notch comedy, featuring a lineup of elite comedians, including Justine Wanda, Ruth Nyambura, Shazz Nderitu, and Ciku Waithaka.
This all-female stand-up comedy ensemble is set to deliver a refreshing and unapologetic perspective on various aspects of daily life, politics, and relationships.
Expressing her excitement for the upcoming show, Mammito shared,
I’m thrilled to be sharing my platform with these hilarious women, whom I’m not only proud to call my friends but have also had the pleasure of sharing the stage with before.”
In addition to her upcoming show “Mammito & Girlfriends,” Mammito is also gearing up for her debut performance in Doha.
On August 10, 2023, she will be headlining and performing at “The African Night of Laughter” event, which is regarded as the largest comedy event in Qatar.
This marks a significant milestone in her comedy career as she takes her humor to an international audience in Doha.
