Bold opinionated journalist Makena Njeri has made a bold step – making some changes to her Instagram bio.
She has changed her name from Makena Njeri to Chris Muriithi.
Among other things, Makena is famed for having dated Marini Naturals CEO Mitchelle Ntalami before their tumultuous breakup. Mitchelle Ntalami accused Makena of being a serial cheater.
This year in September, Makena addressed ‘downplaying LGBTQ rights‘.
In a message directed to the president William Ruto she said,
LGBTQ rights are human rights that we can’t downplay anymore. It is an issue that requires your attention as our president. The community is alive and has been here for a long time.”
