KTN Home, a prominent entertainment channel, celebrated its 33rd anniversary with a remarkable rebranding effort on July 1st.
The channel unveiled a fresh new look, including a new logo and revamped programming, to cater to the preferences of the modern-day viewer.

The grand event took place at the Anga Cinema in Nairobi’s CBD, a historic venue that added to the glitz and glamour of the occasion.
Dressed in their finest attire, invited guests walked the red carpet, showcasing their style and embodying the spirit of the new era for KTN Home.
During the event, Youth Affairs Secretary Raymond Ochieng delivered a speech on behalf of Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba, congratulating the Standard Group and KTN Home on their impressive rebranding efforts.
Namwamba praised the channel for its longstanding commitment to promoting arts and entertainment and commended its support for young talent.
Namwamba emphasized the significance of media in shaping opinions, bridging gaps, and amplifying the voices of individuals and communities.
He encouraged the youth to seize the platform provided by KTN Home and expressed his belief that media partnerships can unlock the full potential of talent in the entertainment industry, creating more opportunities for young people.
The launch event saw the participation of several partners, including Room Wine Kenya, Fairview Hotel, Naivas Supermarkets, Anga Cinemas, MultiChoice Kenya, Gem Suites, Safaricom, and Maybelline New York. Orlando Lyomu, CEO of the Standard Group, highlighted KTN Home’s rich heritage as the first private TV channel in Kenya, paving the way for others in the industry.
Lyomu expressed his excitement about the channel’s rebirth, describing the new look as dynamic, refreshing, and inspirational.
He reiterated KTN Home’s commitment to providing captivating and family-oriented content, ranging from local Swahili dramas and telenovelas to Hollywood movies, talk shows, reality shows, in-depth features, and entertainment for all age groups.
The rebranded KTN Home aims to deliver homely entertainment across various platforms, including television sets, laptops, and mobile devices.
