Kenyan artist Karun has previously revealed that at one time, she was on medication due to depression and anxiety. That’s why when the talented singer ‘Tweeted about’ her dying ‘Unexpectedly’, fans and friends got concerned about her well being.

Karun, on 27th Nov Tweeted,

If I die unexpectedly, release anything/everything on my hard drives, all unreleased and even unfinished music.

Don’t want it to die with me. P.s. only person I need profiting off my stuff when I die is my son.

Karun – Twitter

An unsettling tweet that left Twitter users wondering if she is okey.

Am a dark person naturally, epitome of Wednesday Addams but this tweet got me worried for a hot hour. Babes are you okay?

inquired one Twitter User

we look forward to enjoying the music while you’re here too though 💙

@IyanahKiragu

Write a will, patia loya. Uku you are just entertaining strangers with your private life.

@LeonardWekesa11

But I want you to release anything/everything on your hard drives, all unreleased & even unfinished music ❤️. I want you here ❤️🫂

@Kihash_Kenny

We need you here making great music as always. Hope you are ok ❤️ 🤗

@ssbo

I just need to let you know how healing your music is to me homie. To this day everytime a nigga is depressed or my anxiety is building up it’s you jams that get me out of the abyss. 💯 🔥

In a 2021 interview with Biko Zulu, Karun talked about her mental health saying –

Boston is very cold. When I moved it was in the middle of Winter and it took me a couple of months to get used to it.
That is when I started realizing my mental health. There is a seasonal depression that happens very often in the winter and that is what happened to me.
That is the first time I was on medication for depression.”
