Media personality Julie Gichuru is celebrating 19 years of marriage. Unreal right? Well, Julie Gichuru and Anthony Gichuru, or simply ‘Simba’ as Julie Gichuru fondly likes to call him, have been together for 23 years, but celebrating their 19th marriage anniversary.
Back in February 2021, the veteran communication specialist celebrated her 22-year relationship with husband Anthony saying they are the present-day Alejandro and Lerato.
Julie, in 2021 talked about the secret to their long lasting marriage and relationship saying,
22 years of love. It’s not about a day of romance or material things. It is about friendship and respect. Laughing together. Praying together. Understanding each other, well. Supporting and encouraging each other.
Comforting and strengthening each other. Respecting each other. Love is not static; it is a continuous series of actions that feed a state of being.
