Tanzanian rapper Joh Makini is mourning the death of his friend and collaborationist South African Rapper AKA.
AKA was gunned down in South Africa, Durban outside a nightspot where he unfortunately lost his life.
Joh Makini worked with the South African Rapper in ‘Don’t Bother’ back in 2015.

He has thanked the South African Award Winning star for his contribution in the music industry.
AKA has won numerous awards throughout his career, including multiple South African Music Awards (SAMAs) for categories such as Best Male Artist, Best Rap Album, and Best Collaboration. He has also won multiple MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMAs), including Best Collaboration and Best Hip Hop Artist. Additionally, he has received recognition from other organizations, such as the African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMAs) and the Channel O Music Video Awards.

According to South African Media outlets, two males were gunned down outside the nightclub. AKA died on the scene while the second unidentified male victim later died, despite life-saving efforts.
