Just Ivy recently shared her inspiring journey into digital content creation. Quitting her 9-5 corporate job was a process which she is happy she went through to be where she is today.
While she had longed to leave the corporate world, she faced doubt from others when she discussed her vision.
With hard work and a bit of luck; she transitioned from a typical 9-to-5 job to a successful online presence.
She explains.
She explained,
So the thing that people don’t really know is I wanted

to quit my job years ago,
that I had started having conversations with people.
I even once attended a CEO’s conference and I remember she said,
‘put yourself on a transition plan’.
If you want to leave your job,
that’s okay but make sure that you will be able to
sustain yours and your children’s lifestyles even
when there’s no income coming in’.
Now the one mistake that I made was
sharing my visions with people,”
When faced with skepticism from those around her, Just Ivy found herself hesitant to make the leap and continued to hold onto her traditional job.
She recounted a specific instance when she shared her desire to leave her job.
This particular person she confided in was doubtful.
At that time, many people didn’t realize the potential of the digital world as a million-dollar industry.
So, opening up about her vision made her a bit cautious, and she stuck with her conventional employment, as Ivy revealed.
She explained,
I remember telling one particular lady that I wanted to quit my job and do Over 25, which propelled my career, but she was skeptical.
Back then people never saw that the digital world was growing into a million dollar industry.
So sharing my vision with people led me to cower a little bit and stick to my employment,”
