Are you a filmmaker in Africa passionate about using films to drive positive change in your community, country, across Africa, and the world at large? Then ‘Film For Impact Fellowship’ is for you.
Films For Impact Fellowship identifies, train, and mentor emerging filmmakers; scriptwriters, producers, cinematographers, directors, and editors, to produce and distribute short films, Feature films, documentaries, web series, television series, and other media content that will disrupt the status quo, tackle social issues, influence policies, and foster behavioral change across the African continent.
The Fellowship will hold a 1 month capacity building program in 2023, a combination of a 3 weeks Online training, and 1 week physical plenary session in select African countries.
The theme for the 2023 edition of the festival is “NEW NARRATIVES”.
Africa Film for Impact Festival is dedicated to showcasing and empowering films and filmmakers committed to Social Change themes in movie production across Africa, and the world. .
