In a conversation with YouTuber Trudy Kitui, Kevin Okoth, the elder brother of the late Duncan Okoth, also known as Ochonjo, shared the details surrounding his brother’s cause of death.

Expressing his sorrow, Kevin mentioned that he had high hopes for Duncan but acknowledged that sometimes, God has His own plans.

Kevin revealed that he had a premonition of something bad when he was called to take Duncan to the hospital.
Recounting their last emotional moment together, Kevin described how he tried to uplift Duncan’s spirits, assuring him of his strength and holding his hand while he was eating.

He was eating, so while he was eating he lifted his hand and held mine.
He was not himself again he could not even see me, he was unable to eat. I left him with his workmates.”

According to Kevin, Duncan experienced organ failure, with his liver and kidneys being severely affected. This was a major concern as Duncan also had Tuberculosis, which cannot be effectively treated if the organs are not functioning properly.

After being admitted to the hospital on May 3, 2023, Duncan’s health continued to decline, and tragically, he passed away on Wednesday, May 10, at 2 am.
