Gengetone artist Exray is in deep mourning following the tragic passing of his music producer and close friend, Byron Kivisi, widely known as Byron Papi.

On his Instagram page, the artist shared numerous photos and videos showing their time together, both in the studio and at Byron’s candle-lighting ceremony.
Exray expressed his profound grief, emphasizing that Byron was more than just a producer; he was like a brother to him.

I have never felt like this in a long time, have tried sleeping so that i could wake up from this nightmare😭😓 so much pain to lose you as a friend, brother, my producer, you and i have done so much.

Exray also shared information about Byron’s upcoming farewell ceremony, urging the public to attend the final candle-lighting ceremony in Nairobi before they traveled to Byron’s hometown in Vihiga County to give him a proper send-off.
The burial is scheduled for the 7th of next month in Vihiga County,
and the final candle-lighting ceremony for all artists in Nairobi
will take place on the 4th.
