Comedian Eric Omondi has tragically confirmed the passing of Pyden Mudoga, a one-month-old baby who had been battling a cancerous tumor in his jaw.
The comedian, now an activist, had rallied support and raised more than Sh1.42 million to aid in the infant’s medical expenses.
Initially admitted to Kenyatta National Hospital, Baby Pyden was suffering from cancer.

Eric Omondi took to his social media platforms to share a heartfelt video expressing his sorrow over the loss of Baby Pyden on Monday morning.
He extended his deepest condolences to the grieving family.
He also expressed gratitude towards all those who had contributed to the fundraising campaign, emphasizing that their generous support had made a significant impact on the baby’s life.

Eric Omondi, remembered him as a resilient fighter.
In a separate video he referred to the deceased as a ‘young soldier’ who demonstrated remarkable strength throughout his struggle for health.

He fought a good fight. He ran his race. In the short time that he lived, he taught me great lessons. He taught Resilience. He has rested.
We will remember him as a Legend. We will Celebrate his life.
