Comedian Eric Omondi is the latest club owner in town. The content creator launched ‘MAXYS LOUNGE’ earlier today.

Speaking to the media, Eric said that the new business venture will aid him in ending the begging culture in the future. Referring to his age, he pointed out that he would hate to be successful in his prime only to end up with nothing in the future.
When I turned 40 on the 9th of March, I asked myself many questions because there has been a culture of artists doing so well in their prime but later turn to begging and we want to get rid of that culture,”
ERIC
Adding that this is not the official launch of the lounge, he requested Kenyans to support the new venture which is located on Isiolo Road.
Today I start a new Journey as a Club owner…I will ask for your Support as Friends, Fans, Supporters and Family in this new Venture. I have officially taken ownership of Maxy’s Lounge on Isiolo road. We will be renovating for 35 days in preparation for our official Launch in October. This will be Nairobi’s HOTTEST Entertainment Spot”.

He further urged artists to invest,
I have been in the industry for 14 years and currently am the big brother and am urging artists that are doing well to have investments for themselves so that they do not turn to beggars after they leave the industry,”
ERIC
He follows in the footsteps of Sauti Sol’s Bien who, now owns a Bar & Grill, “The Manhattan Ke”.
Bien is happy for him and wishes him well.
Congratulations Eric. You do many stupid things but this is not one of them. We shall come to your club for sure. 👏👏👏👏👏👏
