Elon Musk Urges Support for Creators on Newly Rebranded ‘X’ Platform. (Twitter)
Elon Musk, the owner of the newly rebranded ‘X’ platform (formerly Twitter), has called on users to support creators on the platform.
Musk, has emphasized the importance of backing content creators and subscribing to their content.
Additionally, Musk has highlighted that many creators on ‘X’ come from diverse backgrounds and regions, often facing challenging circumstances.
Subscribing to their content can make a significant impact in their lives, even with just a few hundred dollars a month, he has said.
He has also mentioned Apple’s 30% fee on app store purchases.
Expressing his intention to discuss the possibility of adjusting this fee with Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, he has noted that this will maximize the earnings received by creators on the ‘X’ platform.

Super Important to Support Creators! If you can afford it, please subscribe to as many creators on this platform as you find interesting.
People from every corner of the world post incredible content on 𝕏, but often live in tough circumstances, where even a few hundred dollars a month changes their life.
While we had previously said that 𝕏 would keep nothing for the 12 months, then 10%, we are amending that policy to 𝕏 keeps nothing forever, until payout exceeds $100k, then 10%.
First 12 months is still free for all. Apple does take 30%, but I will speak with Tim Cook and see if that can be adjusted to be just 30% of what 𝕏 keeps in order to maximize what creators receive.
With the recent rebranding and updates, ‘X’ is expected to offer more opportunities for creators to benefit from the platform in the future.
Musk has introduced various ways, including Twitter Revenue and Subscriptions, to support and compensate creators for their content on ‘X’.
