DJ Fatxo wins coveted award amidst Jeff Mwathi’s death probe

Lawrence Njuguna, a popular Mugithi singer who goes by the stage name DJ Fatxo, has won the Mugithi Artist of the Year award at the e360 awards.

Sharing his win on their Instagram page, e360 Awards captioned-

The singer is currently embroiled in a controversy related to the death of Jeff Mwathi, a 23-year-old interior designer who fell from the 10th floor of his apartment.

Investigations are still ongoing. The DCI gave an update on Jeff’s death on March 17th, –

the first cluster of witnesses in the case, forensic examination of the scene and retrieval of CCTV footages that captured the deceased’s last moments.

Several other DCI Forensic experts assisting the Homicide investigators have also collected crucial evidence and the same are being analyzed.
