A dispute has ensued between Nonini and his former record label, Calif Records boss Clemmo over the money he received as compensation after he won a lawsuit against influencer Brian Mutinda.
Nonini had accused Brian Mutinda and TV manufacturing company Synix of using his music ‘wee kamu’ without permission; he won the case and is to receive a compensation of 1 million KSH.
In an interview with SPM Buzz, Clemmo expressed his frustration about not receiving any financial compensation despite producing the song for Nonini.
He argued that as the producer, he deserved a share of the monetary compensation that Nonini received after winning the lawsuit.
However, it appears that there was no formal agreement between Clemmo and Nonini regarding their collaborative work, leaving Clemmo in a difficult position to assert his intellectual property rights.
Nonini is displeased with Clemmo’s comments and has even asked Clemmo to take legal action,
Ignorance sometimes huwa Mbaya: 😅😅😅 Ngojeni kwanza nimalizane na influencer and the company then nikuje ni deal na hii ufala yenyu.

You do know every citizen has the right to appeal any court decision as per our constitution. ???? 😅 ( So reading about things on mtandao utakaa fala sana).
Also if you feel your Rights were infringed you are at all liberty to open a suit against the 2 (influencer and company) But court systems are about Facts not emotional outbursts on social media. You gotta prove your case.
I have invested my time and resources in the suit which you can do the same ( Hii mambo haitaki uzembe) are we clear?
Also I can be petty about so many things. If you want us to go down that road!
