Comedian Chipukeezy has been admitted to Nairobi Hospital due to stomach complications, as confirmed by his close friend Dennis Itumbi.
Concerns have been raised among his fans and friends after news of his ill health became public.
Itumbi shared that Chipukeezy was admitted on Tuesday and has undergone a series of tests, with positive progress so far.
However, further tests are expected, and it’s likely that he will spend more time in the hospital. Chipukeezy recently hinted at battling health challenges and undergoing regular checkups.
Due to his condition, the celebration of his 10-year anniversary in the entertainment industry, initially scheduled for August 5, has been postponed.
Chipukeezy was admitted here last night and I have had a chat with him and we are happy with the progress with his medication and the Doctors here are doing a good job.
He is since out of machines and is now in the normal ward, and as you are aware he had a show on August 5th, and following our discussion with the doctors we have decided to postpone the show and the new date will be announced when he is out of the hospital,”
