Veteran media personality Catherine Kasavuli has, for the first time spoken on her progress since she was hospitalized.
The now, KBC news anchor is allegedly battling cervical cancer at the Kenyatta National Hospital.
On Monday, a blood donation appeal was raised for her, Colleagues , fans and friends came through for her and spread the word, eventually she was able to receive a blood transfusion.
On her Instagram page, Catherine has expressed her gratitude to everyone who has been there for her, through prayers, settling bills, blood donations and otherwise. She has also shared a positive message saying that she will overcome, extending her love and support to anyone battling the same illness.

Last one month has really been crazy for me , I want to take this moment and appreciate my family , colleagues in the media industry, Catherine Kasavuli Foundation team, my doctors , friends, strangers, online community; I wish I could respond to all your messages, I see them and I’m really humbled.
