Bensoul said over a week ago that he was exiting Sauti Sol’s Soul Generation. At the time, he did not reveal his next move. However he thanked the record label for working with him for almost 5 years.
Bensoul has now revealed that after leaving Sol Generation, he will be starting his own record label dubbed Lion of Sudah. Recall that that is the name of his most recent album.
Speaking in an interview at KISS 100, Bensoul also said that he is confident that he has learnt enough, he is ready for this.
Considering everything that I have learned at Sol Generation I feel like I’m ready to handle my own empire and make sure I take care of other artistes on the way.
I feel like I’m in a better place and I really want to be on my own- work on my life, my career, and everything,”
