Aziza Hashim, also known as Azeezah or the ‘Media Messiah,’ has officially left NTV, a station owned by Nation Media Group, after a two-year tenure.
She revealed that she will be taking a break from television for a period before making a comeback with something even more substantial and impressive.

In her farewell statement, Azeezah stated,
The journey is taking an upward trajectory from here, but first, a brief hiatus from TV.”
Her departure comes after a notable stint on Teen Republik, where her last show aired on August 12, 2023.
During this final episode, she bid farewell to her audience and supporters, expressing her gratitude for the backing they’ve provided.

Aziza Hashim became part of NTV in November 2021 alongside Joseph Maina, stepping in for Tracy Wanjiru and Martin Kimathi, who had previously left the show.
Reflecting on her time with the channel, Azeezah shared,
Over the past two years, we’ve put in our utmost effort, and the learning journey has been incredibly enriching. It’s been a complete transformation — from the first show where my wig slipped off, to my farewell episode where history repeated itself.”
Amidst her parting sentiments, Azeezah took the opportunity to extend her appreciation to NTV Management for taking a chance on her as the host of Teen Republik. She acknowledged,

I’d like to express my gratitude for the support I’ve received. My growth during my time at Nation Media Group has been significant. My superiors have entrusted me with responsibilities far beyond what one would typically expect for someone of my age, and I deeply value the opportunities I’ve been given.”
She currently is a radio presenter on NRG Radio and a event MC.
