Nigerian Afrobeats artist Asake, is the latest addition to artists who have sold out international shows in minutes.
Back in November 2021, Wizkid sold out his ‘Made In Lagos’ tour tickets in two minutes. Note that, the O2 Arena, is a multi-purpose indoor arena in the center of The O2 entertainment complex on the Greenwich Peninsula in southeast London. The event center, which has a 20,000-sitting capacity, is the second-highest seating capacity of any indoor venue in the United Kingdom, behind the Manchester Arena. Other artists e.g. Burna Boy and more have achieved the same.
Asake has sold out a show at the prestigious O2 Academy Brixton in London in five minutes. He broke the news on Twitter, adding that there will be a second show at the venue to accommodate other interested music lovers.
