Afrobeats sensation Asake has achieved another remarkable milestone, selling out the iconic 19,000-capacity Brooklyn Center in New York for his eagerly awaited concert on September 8, 2023.
Following his recent triumph of packing the 20,000-seat O2 Arena in London, Asake has now become the first Afrobeats artist to headline and sell out the Barclays Centre.
This New York show is a highlight of his headlining tour across North America, with upcoming performances in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, and Washington DC.
Titled ‘Work Of Art,’ the concert is anticipated to draw a crowd of 19,000 fans, marking it as one of the biggest Nigerian artist concerts in the USA for 2023.
On Friday, September 8th, (today) Asake will bring the ‘Work of Art’ Tour to Brooklyn, promising an electrifying performance featuring hit songs from his recently released sophomore album ‘Work Of Art’ and his record-breaking debut album ‘Mr Money with the VIbe.’
This achievement adds to Asake’s growing list of accolades, including two wins at the 2023 Headies Awards.
He secured the ‘Next Rated Award’ and the highly esteemed Album of the Year award, surpassing other talented artists like Davido, Rema, Burna Boy, and Omah Lay.
